After a fairly smelly 2011, Taiwanese manufacturer HTC has had an insanely quiet 2012. We’ve met just three new handsets, namely the HTC One X, One S and One V.
But now we’re hearing about three new HTC chaps heading down to Chinatown. Er, China country. Sorry.
Part of the Desire Series, they are the HTC VT T328t, HTC VC T328d and HTC V T328w (pictured). Cool names, huh? They’re technically very similar phones, but with different bodies and each destined for a different Chinese network.
The HTC VT T328t belongs to China Mobile, with a 4in display, Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0), HTC Sense 4.0, Beats Audio, a 1GHz single-core processor, 5MP rear camera, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage and microSD support.
The HTC VC T328d and the curvaceous HTC V T328w (from China Telecom and China Unicom respectively) are much the same, but with dual-SIM capabilities.
At this stage, only the price for the HTC V T328w is known. It’ll weigh in at 1,999 CNY, which is £200 to us. Having said that, there’s next to no chance we’ll see these bad boys in the UK.
