Jesus, it’s HTC mania at the moment. The HTC Titan, Radar and Sensation XE are all official, and we’re expecting the Runnymede – among others – really freakin’ soon.
But remember: it’s not all about 4.3in dual-core powerhouses. Spare a thought for the little guy, such as the humble HTC Explorer.
The HTC Explorer – previously leaked as the HTC Pico – has a 3.2in HVGA display, 600MHz processor, 384MB RAM, half a gig ROM, a 5MP camera, and Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) with Sense 3.5 goodness.
With Pocketnow revealing the first press shot of the HTC Explorer, it seems like it won’t be long till HTC makes it all official like. The Taiwanese manufacturer has an event taking place in New York today, but it’s expected to focus on US-only devices. Meh.
The high-specced HTC Vigor got the press shot treatment last week too (again, over on Pocketnow, which appears to have someone from HTC's press shot department on the payroll). It reportedly has a dual-core 1.5GHz processor and 4.3in 720 x 1280 HD display. Noice.
HTC is thought to have another party planned for us in the UK on October 6. That’s, uhm, two weeks on Thursday. Bring it on, you Quietly Brilliant fiends.
