HTC Golf: test pic reveals details of entry-level Android handsetWhat's in a photo? Quite a lot it would seem, if one obtained by PocketNow is to be believed.

It's got hold of a test picture from the HTC Golf (don't worry, it's a work-in-progress codename) taken with the upcoming handset's 3MP snapper and gleaned a fair bit from the EXIF data that came with it.

The 'Golf' is all set to be HTC's latest entry-level handset, it seems, and as such it'll come with some fairly basic but wallet-friendly specs when it appears, reportedly at some time during Q2.

We're talking a 3.5in HVGA display, 512MB of RAM, 4GB internal storage plus micro-SD slot, and a competent-yet-unannounced processor (unlikely to be anything other than a single-core chip around on or just above the 1GHz mark).

Happily, though, it'll ship with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on board, which is more than can be said for a surprisingly high number of handsets that have been announced recently.

We'll look forward to seeing this hit the shelves.

3 handsets is enough HTC, don't screw this up.

As long as this is the only extra handset, they're still in the clear in my eyes. The One V is still too expensive to be a bottom of the range device, after all it has Desire-esque specs.

Aren't they also launching WP phones this year?

They don't count... :p.
