The HTC One Two is one of several new Android flagships on the horizon, and the question on many people’s lips is: “Where the fudge is it?”
Well, bad news if you were hoping for a Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014 unveiling, as the HTC One Two launch is reliably tipped for “late March” – a whole month later.
That’s the word according to twitter-based leak machine @evleaks, with a typically terse tweet.
We’re told: “Starting to look like a late March, NYC launch for HTC M8”, M8 being the internal codename for HTC’s next flagship.
Incidentally, the jury’s still out on the HTC M8’s commercial name, with front-runners including HTC One Two, HTC One Plus, and – one I’ve possibly just made up – HTC Two.
Rumoured HTC One Two specs include a 5in 1080p display, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage (with microSD), and KitKat Android 4.4.
None of that sounds particularly impressive in the grand scheme of things, but we’re told the HTC One Two will feature two camera sensors on the rear. If true, that’ll inevitably be where the marketing focus lies.
