Wow, another rumour from earlier in the week seems to have been bang on the proverbial money. Impressive stuff, rumour mill.
In particular, it was suggested that the HTC M7 launch might go down at a pre-MWC event in London, and now the Taiwanese manufacturer is telling us not to make other plans for February 19.
With Mobile World Congress opening its doors less than one week later, we reckon HTC must have something really important to shout about.
The bookies’ favourite, of course, is the much-discussed HTC M7, one of the worst kept secrets in the smartphone world at present.
While Japan has the HTC J Butterfly and our North America friends have the Droid DNA, the HTC M7 looks destined to carry the flag for HTC in the UK and Europe.
Rumoured HTC M7 specs include a 4.7in display (1920 x 1080), quad-core Qualcomm processor, 32GB internal storage (probably without microSD), 2GB of RAM, a 13MP rear camera, and 2MP shooter on the front.
We’re slightly disappointed that manufacturers are increasingly inclined to launch their flagships outwith Mobile World Congress (we’re looking at you, Samsung), but equally looking forward to a fresh new HTC beast. It’s about time, man.
