Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015 is right around the corner, two weeks tomorrow, and we feel a slight pang of guilt having focused largely on the Samsung Galaxy S6 this week.
Allow us to right that particular wrong here with an in-depth look at HTC One M9 specs. Yet again we’re told to expect just a 1080p display, not QHD. Interdasting.
Credit goes to prolific Chinese rumour machine evleaks, who takes to his website (rather than twitter) for a lengthier-than-usual post.
Diving straight into HTC One M9 specs, one of the things we’re instantly drawn to is the mention of a 5in “FHD” display. It’s largely expected that HTC will save the QHD resolution (2560 x 1440) for the One M9 Plus, and that seems to be the implication here.
Of course, some would argue that QHD is more trouble than it’s worth on smartphones (in terms of battery consumption), so we're not too worried.
Further HTC One M9 specs include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB or 64GB expandable storage, 20.7MP rear camera, 4MP UltraPixel front camera, BoomSound speakers, a 2,840mAh battery, and Lollipop Android 5.0.2 with Sense 7.0.
Evleaks throws in a whole bunch of HTC One M9 accessories, including the HTC DotView 2 case (with more colours than last year), Clear Case, Stand Case, Waterproof Case, Waterproof Headset, “Headset 2015”, HTC BoomBass (here's the 2013 model), and a screen protector.
