The WP7-running HTC Mazaa first popped up in April, when xda-developers published a series of leaked images. They appeared to show a device with a 3.7in display and single camera on the rear, and there were suspicions that it might be the first WP7-based “world phone”.
Eldar Murtazin went one better and posted a 13-minute video review of the phone earlier this week, revealing that the HTC Mazaa has a generous 12MP camera. But don’t get too excited just yet.
WMPoweruser reports that the HTC Mazaa is simply a test device and isn't intended for retail. Instead, it'll be used exclusively in the not-so-top-secret Microsoft labs. It’s eventually expected to replace the Asus handset currently used for testing purposes. Nyoh.
Still, we count at least five WP7 phones in the works from HTC, including the HTC Bresson. If the rumours are true about that bad boy, it’ll rock a 16MP camera. Not too shabby, huh?
