HTC One Mini rumours reaching fever pitch, tipped for August release

HTC One Mini rumours reaching fever pitch, tipped for August releaseWe were talking about the HTC M4 as far back as February this year, before even the HTC One (nee M7) became a reality.

More recently we’ve been calling it the HTC One Mini, and freshly squeezed rumour juice suggests an August release for the not-really-all-that-miniature chap.

The latest HTC One Mini talk comes from none other than Bloomberg, with credit going to not one but two leak-a-trons.

The HTC One Mini (or Mini One, as Bloomberg calls it) will supposedly go on sale in August, “according to two people briefed on the plans who asked not to be identified because details aren’t public”.

None of this should come as much of a surprise, since the HTC One Mini was snapped in all its glory last week alongside its big brother the HTC One.

Rumoured HTC One Mini specs include a 4.3in 720p display (the HTC One being 4.7in 1080p), dual-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage (don’t hold your breath for microSD), and a 4MP UltraPixel camera.

At the other end of the scale, HTC is tipped to be prepping a 6in phablet with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. Last week, Martin told us to start calling it the HTC One Max.
