HTC Omega press shot leaked

HTC Omega press shot leakedThe first press shot for the HTC Omega has leaked, showing the upcoming Windows Phone 7 handset in the obligatory front, back and side pose. It looks pretty sexy.

The HTC Omega is expected to make its public debut at HTC’s imminent “what’s next” party in London, scheduled for September 1.

HTC recently hinted it’d release up to eight new smartphones in Q3. With just over a month left till Q4, it’s time to crank things up a notch.

The rumoured specs for the HTC Omega include a 3.8in display, 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 processor (single-core), 512MB RAM, an 8MP camera and some sort of front facing deal.

The HTC Omega is oft mentioned alongside the HTC Eternity. The latter is thought to have near identical specs, with the key difference being its insanely meaty 4.7in display. Cripes.

September 1 is next Thursday, so only six days to go before we find out what HTC has in store.

If Nokia's Sea Ray does end up looking like an N9 and is priced at the same budget as this, HTC could find themselves up against stiff competition.
