HTC Phones

I want to buy the HTC Desire Z, preferably under £350. Do you know of anyone who would sell two for a discounted price?

Due for an upgrade with Orange but they don't have this phone on their website. Only by 3rd party websites such as carphone warehouse.

I went on a price comparison site once and it showed the cheapest at £15 a month on Orange (my current tarriff anyway) witht he phone at £150. However, when it redirected me to the website the price was higher.

I want a qwerty keybaord phone on Android preferably, are there any such phones coming out this year?

How about a B-stock Motorola Milestone for £198? from Expansys ?
But yes, there are more Android QWERTY handsets later this year. Currently these 5 come to mind as listed on CNet

Milestone looks okay, I will look more into it. Prefer HTC though but keeping my options open.

Not sure if this is your kind of thing, but here is more of a Blackberry style Android with QWERTY on Slashgear - the Acer beTouch E210

The phone looks okay but I prefer the rectangle screen for browsing the Internet. Plus the touch screen comes in handy for that reason too.

was torn between the Z and the Milestone 2 until the Milestone 2 made no appearance, then eventually plumped for a Desire HD. Point being (sorry!) after discussing with Carphone warehouse, they eventually did me a great deal. I'm pleased to say some of the other stores like Phones 4u were the same. If you go instore and ask for a manager and tell them what you want, they should be able to help. Good luck.

What kind of a deal did you get?

I don't want to pay more than £15 a month for a contract, and if with a handset, then not more than £200 for the handset (as I have seen it advertised for £150 before). For the handset alone I would prefer to pay no more than £300;

I got a free handset on a 18 month, 35 quid T-Mobile deal. I thought it was fantastic.

I have the smae issues. I really want the desire z but dont want to pay much and dont need many min or texts. The best i found was this deal
it more than you want to pay a months but it works out the best deal over 24 months assuming you then get a £10 contact

i have exactly the same issue
the best deal i could find was this
it works out best over 24 months assuming you then get a £10 a month deal for the further 6 months

I think those deals are quite expensive.

It works out cheaper getting it on a £15 a month contract and paying for the phone for about £215.

On sim free you can get it for about £350.

still cheaper doing it my my via that site espeshaly if you for for the £15 a month for 24 monthscontract
but if you cna show me where to get the phone sim only for £350 please show

If you go to google shopping you will find the cheapest at £350 there but you have to look frequently as sometimes prices change then change back.

I picked up a standard HTC Desire on an 18 month deal as only £10 a month

Which network and did you have to pay more for the phone? actually, realised you meant HTC Desire. I'm looking for the HTC Desire Z.
