HTC's Mobile World Congress 2012 lineup has been leaked pretty thoroughly, to the extent that we're not expecting many surprises in the official announcement later today.
But the leaks are going to keep coming right up to the last minute, it seems, thanks to the emergence of some choice pics and details for one of the new handsets – the quad-core HTC One X.
HTC didn't exactly blow us away at Mobile World Congress last year, but we're willing to let bygones be bygones on the basis of what our friends from Taiwan appear to have lined up this time around.
And if Greek site FullGSM.gr is to be believed, the flagship HTC One X is going to be quite a proposition. We're told to expect a 4.7in Super LCD 720p display, a 1.5GHz quad-core Tegra 3 processor, 32GB of internal storage and – of course – Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
That's not a bad start, but the good news doesn't end there. Round the back you'll find an 8-megapixel camera with a dual-shutter, which means you can take pics and record video – in 1080p of course – simultaneously. A 28mm wide-angle lens is fitted, capable of opening up to a crisp f/2.0.
All the other bells and whistles also seem present and correct, which in HTC's case includes Beats Audio goodness for your lugholes.
We'll find out later today whether these details are accurate or not, but if so the HTC One X could well be giving the best efforts from Apple and Samsung a serious run for their money in 2012.
FullGSM also touches on some of the other One-branded handsets HTC has in store, but not in the same detail, so we'll leave those to the official announcement later today.
