HTC Pyramid will be HTC Sensation in UK

HTC Pyramid will be HTC Sensation in UKPeople “familiar with the matter” have confirmed to Pocket-lint that the HTC Pyramid will be called the HTC Sensation when it’s released in the UK.

The HTC Sensation is expected to launch on Tuesday at HTC’s media event. The sources weren’t able to confirm an exact release date at this stage, or which operators will carry the handset.

The HTC Sensation was expected to make an appearance at Mobile World Congress in February. Instead we were left with a rather lacklustre line-up of “S” upgrades for the Desire, Incredible and Wildfire, and a couple of Facebook phones.

The following month, the Taiwanese manufacturer revealed the HTC Evo 3D at the CTIA Wireless event in Florida, but still no HTC Pyramid. Or Sensation, I should say.

The HTC Sensation has been snapped a handful of times over the past couple of months. It’s expected to rock a fairly ludicrous 1.2GHz dual-core processor, with a 4.3in touchscreen and 8MP camera. Realistically, it’ll ship with Gingerbread.
