The HTC Pyramid has been receiving a steady dose of rumour mill treatment for almost two months now, and xda-developers has some exclusive new shots of the handset, courtesy of an “anonymous tipster”.
HTC’s Mobile World Congress smartphone offerings were a little lackluster next to the goodies shown off by its rivals. The Taiwanese firm announced "S" versions of the Desire, Incredible and Wildfire, while Samsung let us play with the Galaxy S II, Motorola the Atrix, and LG the Optimus 2X. But the rumoured specs for the HTC Pyramid have us salivating like the dogs we are.
The HTC Pyramid is (still) expected to rock a dual-core 1.2GHz processor. Cripes. It’s also said to have a 960x540 4.3in touchscreen and 8MP camera, with Android 2.3.2 (Gingerbread). What a potentially magnificent beast.
Essentially, it’s the HTC Evo 3D - which might be coming to Europe after all - without the 3D. Sounds good to me.
