HTC Radar, SIM free, £290 @ Carphone WarehouseGet this HTC Radar deal @ Carphone Warehouse

Dave was digging the juiciness of Mango, the quality touchscreen, and the 1GHz processor when he reviewed the HTC Radar, and at £289.95 SIM free it’s not a bad option if you’re thinking of making the leap to Windows Phone 7.

I've had a scout around, and the price is a good £30+ cheaper than Amazon, Expansys and Clove at the time of writing.

Free delivery.

Whoa... Already losing value? WinMo 6.5 HD2 is still €440 at Expansys, and the new breed is just sliiiiiiIiiiiiiding...

When the Pre-Mango phone were getting heavily discounted it was a "Pre-Mango warehouse clear-out", now for a "WM 7.5" phone to get a heavy discount it must be a "pre-Nokia warehouse clear-out".
In December they will probably have a "pre-christmas warehouse clear-out"

...Followed by the WP-did-not-save-Nokia-special, no doubt. :p

From Q3 2011 sales figures (Thousands)
Symbion 19,500
Windows Phone 1,701

I need reminding what was the burning platform and what was the savior of Nokia??????

JanSt / MOD  Nov. 16, 2011 at 18:38

The burning platform was WP (Elop's real employers)...the alleged saviour? Nokia.
Only - it's not gonna happen - no matter how many ads they place in Hello and OK magazine (wtf?)!
Nokes will continue to bring more Android/MeeGo-esque updates to Symbian. THen they'll make Android phones with Symbian-esque features (uh?).
That is what'll happen.
