Get your salt sachets ready, kids. Some semi-official whispers from O2 appear to suggest that the HTC One X release date will be April 5. Heck, that’s just under three weeks away.
Thanks to the transparent nature of Twitter, we can dive right in and see exactly what was said. It’s like Sliver for the 21st century. Or something.
A young lass called Nicole asked: “@O2 any idea on the tariffs and if existing customers need to pay for the @htc one x?”
To which O2 replied: “Hi Nicole, we’re not due to get the HTC until 5th April so no decision on tariffs yet…keep an eye here: [link to O2 pay monthly tariffs]”.
We’re not entirely sure what to make of this, as the O2 Twitter account is “the official home of O2 on Twitter. Run by the social media team.” However, over on O2’s coming soon pages, the HTC One X release date is simply noted as April.
In any case, the HTC One X will definitely arrive next month at some point. Almost time for the old HTC Desire HD to take a trip to the recycling bin.
The HTC One X has a 4.7in display (1280 x 720), quad-core Tegra 3 processor and 8MP camera with 1080p vid cap.
