HTC One reportedly coming in both red and blue

HTC One reportedly coming in both red and blueHTC has had a tough time getting the HTC One into consumers' hands, it's fair to say.

But now that the ball is rolling, HTC is determined to keep it rolling and is reportedly looking to introduce red and blue variants of the One to join the black and silver variants already on the market.

So says Pocket-lint based on conversations with “sources familiar with the matter”. For its part the red handset has already been spotted online twice – on HTC's US website, no less, before an appearance on UK retailer Handtec's site, where it was priced at £419.99 for a 32GB version.

It's the first we've heard of a blue edition of the One, but HTC does have previous in terms of coloured devices. Who can forget the purple HTC Rhyme, after all?

Pocket-lint admits its source doesn't have info in terms of launch dates or exclusivity details or anything like that, though it does claim to have seen the red HTC One in the flesh for what that's worth.

Yes, that is HTC's problem: not enough colour...

Seen many reviews which prefer it to the S4.
Have to say it does look the business.

Yes. It's the nicest Android I used in years. Though, I'd like the option to completely disable Blinkfeed,, and their desktop sync software is the worst ever. (oh, wait... Blackberry Link. I forgot about Blackberry Link for BB10...). Kies has gained some respect points.
