HTC Runnymede gets the press shot treatment

HTC Runnymede gets the press shot treatmentThe HTC Runnymede was leaked at the end of last month, and now Pocketnow has gotten its hands on what appears to be the first press shot of the Android giant.

Looking at the spec sheet, the HTC Runnymede is essentially an Android-flavoured variant of the Mango-running HTC Titan, which is very much a good thing if you ask us.

The stand-out spec on the HTC Runnymede is definitely its colossal 4.7in display. It’s also thought to have a 1.5GHz single-core processor, 8MP/1.3MP camera combo, 768MB RAM, and Android 2.3.4 (Gingerbread) with Sense 3.5.

And, as part of HTC’s collaboration with Beats Audio, you’ll also get a nice pair of headphones to boot.

The leaked document from last month put the pricing thusly:

  • 16GB SIM free - £499
  • 32GB SIM free - £530
  • 16GB contract - £40PM
  • 32GB contract - £40PM, £40 up front

We’re still waiting for HTC to spill official juice on the 4.5 in HTC Holiday (among others), so we’ll have our collective Mobo-gaze fixed longingly on the Taiwanese manufacturer’s New York event on September 20.
