Looking at the spec sheet, the HTC Runnymede is essentially an Android-flavoured variant of the Mango-running HTC Titan, which is very much a good thing if you ask us.
The stand-out spec on the HTC Runnymede is definitely its colossal 4.7in display. It’s also thought to have a 1.5GHz single-core processor, 8MP/1.3MP camera combo, 768MB RAM, and Android 2.3.4 (Gingerbread) with Sense 3.5.
And, as part of HTC’s collaboration with Beats Audio, you’ll also get a nice pair of headphones to boot.
The leaked document from last month put the pricing thusly:
- 16GB SIM free - £499
- 32GB SIM free - £530
- 16GB contract - £40PM
- 32GB contract - £40PM, £40 up front
We’re still waiting for HTC to spill official juice on the 4.5 in HTC Holiday (among others), so we’ll have our collective Mobo-gaze fixed longingly on the Taiwanese manufacturer’s New York event on September 20.
