Was the HTC Sensation death grip thing a load of rubbish?

Was it blown out of proportion?

Probably. When you sell so and so MANY units some are bound to be faulty, and I mean the shoppers, not the phone. Though...

Sensation has WiFi signal problems. If you hold phone horizontally with both hands you can see signal drop by 2 bars. If you switch your hold it's back to normal. I could not get 3G signal to drop holding phone normally (none of the crazy/wacky grips).
If you don't rely on WiFi heavily you won't notice it.

Well TechRadar was one of the first to start moaning about it in the Desire S but didn't even notice it on the Sensation. They even said the reception was better than a Galaxy S II. I can also get my Wifi to drop a bar on my Desire but I've never lost a connection because of it and haven't noticed any loss in speed so does it even matter at that point?

It's not happened to my phone. At all. :)

you're holding it wrong :p

LOL. I was waiting for that.
Have to say I didn't expect the Sensation to be such a vast impreovement over the Desire. It was far from being a bad phone, but Sense 3 is the Mutts. OK it may be more resource hungry than other UIs but it's definitely worth it IMO.

Please... Don't make me want to ditch my Desire even sooner... (_;)

I needed to get something cos my Desire was playing up. And I'm glad I did :)
