HTC Sensation + Permanent Root + LeeDroid Rom = Bliss

Well after thinking that things couldn't get much better than my HTC Sensation (from Orange) in it's native state, I found myself to be very much wrong.
Whilst I was too busy working (and using my phone as .. well a phone really) to notice, XDA went and announced that a permanent root was available. Done!. Unbranded ROM loaded. then after much mucking about I settled on LeeDroids Sensation ROM and I am a very happy man. Even slicker, (2.3.4) and full of wonder, I can now take advantage of the fact the the CPU in this beasty can be cranked up to 1.8Ghz (though I haven't quite got round to that yet.

mrew,
Got a link? Maybe a guide/how to?
:)

Being the Android skeptic, I would like to try a HTC Sensation. The playtime with an SGSII nearly converted me. mrew,

I know.... It's Opera Mini... happens with different phones/OS's. Opera Mini and Mobot have some Love-Hate thing going.

@Jan, CTPAHHIK beat me to it with the xda guide. this is what I used to get my phone ready for ROM-ing. might give revolution ROM a whiz now that I've got titanium doing its job properly. I set myself up a couple of backup folders, one with a full app + data and another with fewer apps (just the basics) while I'm faffing about with various ROMs.

Trick with Titanium is to filter system apps (ROM) correctly. You can only use data from ROM apps. If you try restoring them it might break app and any integration. Never a problem with user apps as you can resote them without any checking.
