We were promised a barrage of new smartphones from HTC in Q3, and the Taiwanese manufacturer hasn’t disappointed. We recently met the HTC Titan and Radar, and now HTC has made the rumoured Sensation XE nice and official.
Being completely modest ‘n’ all, HTC describes the Sensation XE as a “mega-powerful, multimedia superphone”. Excellent.
There was some dubiety about the HTC Sensation XE’s processor, but we can confirm that it is indeed a 1.5GHz dual-core monster.
As we’ve been hearing, the HTC Sensation XE will boast Beats Audio goodness, which means you get some nice in-ear headphones thrown in. HTC promises that the “specially tuned software and user interface delivers the ultimate mobile audio experience”.
Battery capacity is increased from 1,520mAh on the original HTC Sensation to 1,730mAh on this new XE fellow. Otherwise it’s much the same phone that you (possibly) know and love, ‘cept with some nice red touches here and there.
We’re told to expect a European release date of “late September”. I bloody want one.
