Is the HTC Sensation XL too big?

Has anyone been using the HTC Sensation XL? What's it like? Too big or do you get used to it?

I haven't owned one but I have used one. It's not too big if you're a bloke (or a girl with big hands). The problem is it has a crappy single core processor and a low screen resolution for such a massive display. You'd be better off with the Sensation XE if you want an HTC, it's a much better all round phone.

It feels quite awkward to hold when compared to other phones at that size like the galaxy nexus and razr. Also the screen resolution isn't that great. The screen always looks pixillated because of this. I'd recommend going into a phone store and holding one. I think the sensation/xe feels much better in the hand, plus its a better phone spec wise

If it is too big the galaxy note at 5.3" would be mahousssive

Use a Galaxy Note for a week. Then you'll find the XL very handy indeed.
But as a previous poster said: the Sensation XL has some other problems regardless of handsize. Limited storage, relatively poor screen etc...
You can get an Acer Iconia Smart for a lot less. Or get a decent 4.3incher.

I had a go with one in store and I did find it a tad on the large side, personally if I was after a sensation I'd go for the regular Sensation or the XE model.

its simply gorgeous, moved on from the htc hd2, just use that as my developers phone now. size i easily got used too. speed is fantastic, battery life i get at least two days easily out of it and i use it for business, screen is great for browsing and texting, weight is good for its size, even on very low brightness screen is impressive, the charge time is quick, camera works great only annoyance is one minute google app market says i can have an app next it says it not compatible. if in doubt i use xda-developers to get what i want
