It maybe one day. but i asked them on twitter a few days ago and they said they didn't have any plans at that point...

Treab, does that mean anything?
In the past I asked Vodafone if they'll get the E6 - they gave me the exact same answer on a Friday. That Saturday the E6 appeared on their website, and Monday it was in the shops.

it doesnt mean anything (which is why i said 'maybe one day') but he asked whether its coming to 3 mobile so i told him based on what i know currently... you right it could be on their webpage tomorrow but with 3 mobile i doubt it.

If you're feeling brave, get the Sensation and change the ROM for Android Reveolution 3.6.x - That will give you the same Phone/Apps as the XE
Thats will give you an XE for no extra 1) Money or 2) wait :)

mrew's right. You could even buy the bigger Sensation XE battery as well to further boost your fake XE experience.

Or if your going to buy a new phone anyway you could buy an xe on o2 with the headphones (which is required for beats :p so just upgrading the software is only step one :p) and bigger internal memory

I think the XE is a bit of a con tbh, the beats headphones aren't that good, to much bass, sounds like a Chav's vauxhall corsa's sound system. Sennheiser, Bose and B&O are all far, far better in terms of sound quality. As for the "beats audio", it's all software based, hence the original Sensation being able to manage it all. I think the custom ROM for the Sensation can use any headphones, not just beats branded ones, like the real XE can.

not as good as it once was. now the redemption deal has finished meaning its up from 18.58 to 21.50 :(

matt101101 / MOD  Oct. 10, 2011 at 15:31

Shame, but it's still a pretty good deal :).

Treab  Oct. 10, 2011 at 15:35

it was brilliant when you bought it via quidco/if you bought it for the phone and dropped the internet...

so it could be 12.58 before quidco...

or as low as 10.49 for the phone... on a 0% deal end cost of just over £250 .. such a shame

My Sennheiser CX-300s sound brilliant with the Beats Ausio 'active'. So much so that i've all but stopped listening to my beloved iPod. You DON'T need beats headphones to take advantage of the plugin. The strapline talks about turning all headphones into Beats 'phones.
P.S. I've already plopped an EVO3D battery (1800MaH) into the beast and reaping the extra hours it give me :)

is beats ausio the renamed custom rom to prevent copyright issues?
