The HTC One S launched back in February at Mobile World Congress, and was in fact favoured by our Jan over the larger, pricier, higher-specced HTC One X. Just saying.
Fast-forward eight months and now we’re hearing official word of an HTC One S Special Edition. Tell us more, High Tech Computer Corporation.
Before you get too excited, it looks like the HTC One S Special Edition might be exclusive to HTC’s home turf of Taiwan. There’s certainly nothing to suggest it’s heading to the UK any time soon.
The big news concerning the HTC One S Special Edition, other than its new Snow White jacket, is that the internal storage is quadrupled from 16GB to 64GB. We like.
Otherwise, HTC One S Special Edition specs remain unchanged, so you’re looking at a 4.3in Super AMOLED display, dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor clocked at 1.5GHz, and an 8MP rear camera, all housed in 7.8mm of phone.
As I say, no word on a UK release for the HTC One S Special Edition at this stage, but we’ll keep our fingers crossed. Er, not literally.
