HTC has already said that there’ll be only one One this year, but the rumour mill is abuzz with rumours of various potential new flagships from the Taiwanese manufacturer.
There may or may not be an HTC One Google Edition, for example, and the latest rumours tell us to brace for something called the HTC T6, an upcoming phablet that's probably not named after the tiny little aeroplane.
That’s the word according to mysterious (and mysteriously accurate) twitter account @evleaks, which purrs: “The upcoming HTC phablet goes by codename T6”.
You’d like to think there’s some logic at work there, so perhaps the HTC T6 will have a 6in display. Mind you, the HTC One was codenamed M7, so I’ll shut up and quickly move on.
Adding fuel to the HTC T6 fire is Japanese-language site HTC Soku, which names five international variants, specifically the cassiopeia, columba, delphinus, crater and eridanus.
At the weekend, we relayed word of a bigger HTC One, with a display in the 5-6in range.
At present, there’s the 4.7in HTC One and 5in Droid DNA (US) and HTC J Butterfly (Jap), so it’d definitely make sense for this HTC T6 to rock an even larger display - perhaps something to rival the 5.5in Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
If massive phones don't do anything for you, you might be more interested in the 4.3in HTC M4, which will supposedly be released as the HTC One mini.
