HTC teases Windows Phone 8 device(s) ahead of today’s launch

HTC teases Windows Phone 8 device(s) ahead of today’s launchWe’ve recently had high-profile product launches from Samsung, Motorola, Nokia, Amazon, and some Californian crew calling themselves Apple, and now it’s over to HTC.

The Taiwanese manufacturer is expected to launch its first Windows Phone 8 handsets later today, and that’s exactly what they’ve been teasing on the Facebooks.

The pic above was accompanied by the phrase: “When beautiful hardware meets stunning software.” And... that’s your lot. The time, as we’ve come to expect from HTC, is of course 10:08, and 19/9 is, well, today!

HTC is tipped to reveal as many as three Windows Phones, namely the Zenith, Accord and Rio, weighing in at 4.7in, 4.3in and 4in respectively.

However, recently, focus has largely shifted to the middle chap – the HTC Accord. Word on the street is it’ll be called the HTC 8X when it finally launches.

What does that mean for the HTC Zenith and Rio? We’ll find out for sures later this afternoon. HTC’s Windows Phone 8 launch event is going down in New York, at 4pm(ish) UK time.

We’re not-so-secretly hoping to see the HTC tablet, too, and maybe a new Android flagship, but we ain’t holding our breaths.

Gives precious little away, odd to give the middle one a name suggesting its wp8 version of One X

Saw some claims on Twitter saying it'll have some type of Sense overlay!?! Have MS eased up on the 'no skinning' rule for WP8?!? Doubt it.

WP7 HTC Devices had a "Sense Hub".

Looks largely similar to others in pics so far today.
8s looks nicer than the 8x to me, odd that both smaller than similar named one x and s.
Prefer HTCs blue to Nokias but they do seem slightly lower spec which is refreshing change for Nokia.
Only the lower spec smaller one gets micro sd again...
No sign of Nokia maps, but then they don't get to play with them much.

November mentioned as release date...
