HTC’s “less is more” approach seems to have gone completely out the window. The Taiwanese manufacturer recently unveiled the HTC Desire C (formerly the HTC Wildfire C formerly the HTC Golf).
Now we’re hearing about something called the HTC Ville C, essentially a slight variant of the recent HTC One S.
Of course, if you’ve been following HTC’s antics this year, you might remember the HTC One S was originally referred to as the HTC Ville. Somewhat confusingly, the HTC One V has nothing to do with Ville. My head hurts.
According to sources of BriefMobile, the HTC Ville C is best described as a cheaper, ultra-slim version of the HTC One S. Because that’s what the world has been crying out for.
HTC Ville C specs include a 4.3in AMOLED display, dual-core Snapdragon S3 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 1,650mAh battery, an 8MP rear camera with 1080p video capture, 16GB internal storage and 1GB of RAM.
Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) will take the captain’s chair, while the HTC Ville C is tipped to rock HTC Sense 4.5.
If the HTC Ville C does exist, we expect it’ll be some regional variant of the HTC One S. Probably.
