Is the HTC Wildfire any good?

I can’t afford the Desire, so is the HTC Wildfire any good? What’s the battery life like on the HTC Wildfire?

I don't have this phone myself, but all sources state that it is an excellent budget smartphone, with very good battery life compared to others. It would be hard to state exactly how long the battery would last, because everyone uses it for different things.

Yeah I read around a bit and I see that it has a good battery life for a smartphone. I see friends complaining that their batteries on their high end smartphones don't last any length of time at all

I've had mine for almost a year. On an average day my phone is on from about 08:00 until about 22:00 and the battery still has a bit of charge left.

I'm a reasonably heavy internet user (I normally use about 400-450mb per month).

If you view a lot on YouTube or play a lot of games I imagine battery life will be much shorter but still much better than my wife's iphone which you can drain in about 6 hours

One of my work colleagues saw my Desire but ended up buying a Wildfire. I thought that this would be suitable for my wife as she wanted to upgrade from her Tocco. After my wife's phone landed my two sisters both ordered theirs based on how good the phone is. In short, it's the Desire's little brother and is just as good as a Desire. Now go and buy one......

The Orange SanFransisco is the best budget Android phone hands down (under £100 and larger screen), beating the HTC Wildfire so id check that out

Hate to sound like I'm repeteing my self, but the San Francisco has a much nicer screen. Camera on the WildFire is notable though.

Stick to an iPhone. The wildfire is useless , I've got one ,
