Hi I have a HTC Wildfire S . I am on the Orange PAYG network. This is fine when I use it at home (linked to Wi Fi router) But when I am away from home I only need to use it as a phone/text!

Trouble is I am finding that I am beiing charged for GPRS & items that I am not using. Is there a way that I should adjust my settings? IF SO how? Thanks Liz

Menu > Settings > Wireless and Networks > Mobile Networks > Untick "Use Packet Data".

After you've done that, your phone will stop connecting to mobile data networks and you'll stop being charged for them.

Lizzy, as an added bonus, turning off mobile data should noticeably improve your battery life :).
