Hey, UK guy. Fancy the Huawei Ascend D1 Quad when it finally gets released later this year?
Well, you’re in luck, friend, as the Chinese manufacturer has confirmed to Pocket-lint that the Huawei Ascend D1 Quad will “absolutely” hit the UK in, like, a few months or something.
The Huawei Ascend D1 Quad was revealed at Mobile World Congress back in February, and promises to be one of the phones of the year, with a solid build and super-sexy specs.
Indeed, Huawei claims that the Ascend D1 Quad is the “world’s fastest smartphone”. We’ll take that with a pinch of salt till we get an extended play with it.
But the best part is: it’s expected that the Huawei Ascend D1 Quad will go for around 80% of the price of its big name rivals, such as the HTC One X and Samsung Galaxy S III; maybe £400ish SIM free.
The Huawei Ascend D1 Quad has – as the name suggests – a quad-core processor, 4.5in display (1280 x 720), 8MP camera with 1080p video capture, and Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0).
Exact Huawei Ascend D1 Quad price and release date have yet to be confirmed, but we’ll be keeping a keen eye on proceedings. Stay tooned…
