Phew. The press room is eerily quiet this morning as Mobile World Congress draws to a close, and we’re taking the opportunity to catch up on the little bits and pieces we’ve missed here and there.
We’re quite sure you’ll forgive us for focusing on the Huawei Ascend D1 Quad (video) earlier in the week, but the Chinese manufacturer also brought along the Ascend G300 and MediaPad 10 FHD. True story.
The Huawei Ascend G300, which is heading to Vodafone UK in Spring, weighs in with a 4in display (480 x 800) and 5MP rear shooter with a secondary chap on the front.
Some of the finer details have yet to be revealed, such as processing juice, internal storage and RAM, however the Huawei Ascend G300 will ship – initially – with Gingerbread (Android 2.3).
As for the MediaPad 10 FHD, it rocks a proprietary quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz, with 2GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage (expandable via microSD).
The MediaPad 10 FHD’s IPS display boasts an impressive 1920 x 1200 resolution, yielding a PPI of around 226, and it'll rock Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0).
We’re told the MediaPad 10 FHD will drop at some point in Q2.
