Are Huawei phones well built?

Are Huawei smartphones generally well built?

I had the Ascend G300 and for a £90 phone it was pretty well built. Impressive, actually. Not exactly pretty, or supersleek, but sturdy and efficient.

They'll outlast their warranty, seems to be the general consensus from what I've read.

My 13 year old son, who can't be trusted to look after anything has had his G300 for 6 months now and it hasn't got a blemish scratch, crack or any other sign of early decay. I think that's a pretty good test :-)
I bet I've jinxed it now but I think it is a excellent bit of kit for 100 quid.

Huawei are good builds. Not premium quality but sturdy and reliable. Their quality control is excellent

Agree with that, it's no nokia 5800 that you could likely use as a weapon but seems pretty solid.

Aha, I used to have that phone. I could throw it against a wall everyday from 2009 and I guarantee it'd still be working today. Even though itvwas plastic it was built like a brick.

Shame the screen was so prone to scratching, resistive, and nowhere near other smartphones at the time of release. Wasn't a bad little phone though.
