Huawei isn’t exactly new to the tablet game, what with the Honeycomb-running Ideos S7 Slim. It recently teased a brand new tablet called the MediaPad with a sexy shot showing the device chilling on a table.
In stark contrast to that classy image, Huawei has released a 44-second video (check it out on YouTube) that genuinely has to be seen to be believed. I refer to the acting; there’s not a great deal to go on in terms of the tablet. It might very well be the worst ad ever made.
What do we know about the Huawei MediaPad? Well, according to Akihabara News, it’ll have either a Qualcomm 1.5GHz dual core processor, or possibly some sort of NVIDIA Tegra 2 action.
The tablet is expected to have a 7in display, with Wi-Fi, 3G and Bluetooth connectivity, and - like the Ideos S7 Slim - Honeycomb doing the OS honours.
That ad. I think I might be in shock.
