Over in the US of A, Motorola Razr and Razr Maxx owners have been rocking Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) since June, leaving their Eurotrash counterparts screaming “What the hey?!”
Fast-forward two months and Ice Cream Sandwich has finally landed for Motorola Razr and Razr Maxx users in Europe. Mmm, delicious.
The update is being rolled out OTA (over the air), and you can of course check manually by tapping Menu > Settings > About Phone > System Updates.
It’s not clear which UK networks have given approval (or if any in particular are being tardy), but word on the cyberstreet is Motorola Razr and Razr Maxx owners on O2 have received the goods.
Oh, if you’re eligible for the update, you might want to crank up the Wi-Fi. See, Ice Cream Sandwich for the Motorola Razr and Razr Maxx weighs in at a meaty 375MB.
Are you one of the three people in the UK with a Motorola Razr or Razr Maxx? Have you grabbed Ice Cream Sandwich? Tell us all about it below. Or else.
