Only some iMessages come up as 'Read' with a time

How come some iMessages comes up as 'Read' with a specific time? It only happens with a couple of contacts in particular....

No idea... I disable iMessage first thing whenever I use iOS. More free SMS than I can use. Why complicate matters :p

Ive noticed this, since I had only really noticed the "read" status after going to iOS6 I did wonder if it was related to people not running iOS6?

On a related note I do find it interesting that even tho iOS is so easy to update, not a lot of people do it (that ive seen anyway), theyre just happy as it is now, kind of puts a new spin on the fragmenetaion problem that people talk about a lot as it seems like its not really a problem at all

That seems in disagreement with figures I've seen on here about ios update uptake which paint it as almost everyone updates. Interesting.

Whilst it might be technically easy to do it's still a mighty big download usually which could put some off. Could be an if it's not broke don't fix it mentality too

Stelph,
It also makes Apple's anti-jailbreak stance ridiculous. iOS6, eg, fixed hundreds of potential security holes. So why not force update? Jailbreak doesn't add as many holes as Apple claim to have fixed...

Of course not all idevices can get ios6 too

True, also ;)

Well yeah just that I know of at least 3 friends who are iOS who just dont understand about updates and dont really show an interest, especially as they worry that updating will lose all their valuable data and pictures and the like

I remeber almost forcing a couple of friends to iOS5 last time, couldnt be bothered to put the same amount of effort in this time TBH!

Dont get me started on stupid ideas apple have.... (oh wait you did!)

The one that really makes me want to smash my phone is apples refusal to let the SD/USB camera adapter work with the iPhone, there is NO logical reason for this other than it adds another "feature" to the iPad so you have to get that as well as an iPhone.

Ive also noticed that Apple have also pushed into whole new realms of douchebaggery by splitting the SD and USB adapter into TWO ADAPTERS so it now costs twice as much, plus theye dropped the "ipad" from the title, although despite this it is still iPad only, way to be completely confusing Apple...
