Would you be interested in a larger iPhone?

A lot of Android-using friends say they like the iPhone, but that it's just too small compared to the big Android phones from HTC, Sony, Samsung etc.

Would you be more interested in an iPhone if it had a larger display?

Yes. But it depends on the feel... The 5/5s haven't got the best 'feel' imho. I wouldn't like a bigger version of that.

I used to be happy with the 4in models, but I have noticed that many websites and web apps these days obviously were designed with huge phones in mind. In other words:
I find myself wishing for a bigger screen more and more often when I use an iPhone.

Yes, but not some 4.5" thing, I'd only be interested in a phablet iOS device; 5.5" - 6". I'm surprised Apple haven't tried to take Samsung on in the Phablet market, it's obviously lucrative judging by how many Notes Samsung sell each year, and that's over and above their Galaxy S sales.

By the end of this year, Samsung will have released four generations of phablet with basically no real competition, I do wonder why other manufacturers don't give it a proper go (not just making their flagship phone bigger *looks at HTC*).
