Internal memory shortage on the Orange Monte Carlo

I'm currently using the Orange Monte Carlo. I don't have any games installed. Just Hotmail and twitter. My internal memory storage is down to 30mb. This slows the phone down. Anything I can do to free up some space? I've deleted unnecessary apps and deleted all cache etc. Help!

Can you move apps to the MicroSD card (some will move at least their data without needing root access)? Is the phone rooted? If so use Apps2SD to move even more stuff off the internal memory and onto a MicroSD card.

I'm currently using app2sd to move all apps which DO move to the SD card.

Ahh, how much internal memory does the Skate have?

*Sorry, Monte Carlo (it's real name, before Orange got their hands on it, is the ZTE Skate).

So are we talking RAM as in memory used while apps are running (which I suspect is what you're referring to) as opposed to storage, where apps & data are installed to (internal storage vs external sd card storage). Where are you readin that you have low memory (or storage) from?
For starters if it is RAM then moving all your apps to sd (or not) won't make a blind bit of difference. You need to check what processes are running and stop those offending ones, think of task manager on your pc not what apps you have installed.....

It's storage. I know this because I have the App2SD app

How much data are Hotmail and Twitter holding onto and is that on Internal memory? Seems odd that so much space is awol with so few apps.
Is there much free space on the system partition?
Is this on stock rom or custom one?
