cnet did a survey. Of about 1000 users 60% reported decreased battery performance. I'll try and find a link.
Worth bearing in mind that some of the respondents probably still get used to new features... They, unconsciously, may be playing around a bit more often then they used to with the more familiar os.

My 3GS is a lot worse since the update. Fine as long as you don't use it! Like having a Desire HD again.

Oops. Know whatcha mean. My Desire HD was good for a month. Then it went down down down...

I said after 4 weeks ;)

When I reviewed it, I was very impressed, but poor battery aside, slowly more'n'more bugs started to really annoy me :p
