iPad 2 performance little better than the original?

At last week's launch of the iPad 2, Steve Jobs claimed the dual-core A5 processor inside would offer twice the raw computing power of the A4 chip in its predecessor. So it's a little disappointing to see Ars Technica's early benchmarks showing that for web browsing at least there isn't much to choose from between old and new.
