What's the best iPad browser?

Is any particular iPad browser supposed to be the "best" or it personal preference really?

No Chrome, so personal preference really.

EDIT: Since saying this, Chrome has been released for iOS devices.

yes, agree with matt. I use Safari mostly; or Opera when on 3G. Tried all the gimmicky ones and wasn't impressed.

tabs, easy to use

Ah... Chrome is available. And IF you jailbreak you can even get a sh*tload of extensions, tweaks, themes etc... But Chrome's in the AppStore

Maxpow3r, what are you browsing?

You can't set it as default, though :(.

It wasn't when I wrote that. It only became available after Google I/O 2012. Also, Safari has special access to something which no other browser does, and it's the only one that can be set as a default. How Apple are still getting away with that, I don't know. Especially after the EU told M$ they were in the wrong just for installing IE on PCs when they shipped. At least in that case there was nothing stopping you installing a different browser and setting it as the default, instead.

True. I'd like Apple to change that, too.
And sorry, I hadn't noticed the dates ;)
