Can the iPad mini handle the most demanding iOS games like Infinity Blade, Grand Theft Auto...?

If it can it's suggests that they aren't being made to make the most of the full power ipad yet.
Won't look as good anyway due to the low res screen. Though the lower resolution will make it easier to run the games...

Yes, it can. On the other hand, that doesn't mean it will continue to be able to throughout the time you own it. After all, the A5 chip is coming up to two years old...

But is there more incentive for developers to make weaker games that they can sell to more people or push the boundaries of the newest ipad...

From what I understand it's as good as an ipad2 so should be ok for a while and I actually think the display looks crisper due to the smaller screen size compared to the ipad2 but using the same resolution
