It was amusing that next to no one screamed “What about the iPad mini?!” following the launch of the iPhone 5 and the new iPods last week.
However, the iPad mini rumours refuse to go away (despite our insistence), and now we have some fresh pics to mull over.
The iPad mini pics in question were published by Chinese site Bolopad (as evidenced by the subtle watermarking). Supposedly we’re looking at genuine iPad mini parts, intended to allow folk to forge ahead with iPad mini accessories for launch.
As for iPad mini specs, again we’re looking at a 9-pin dock connector and speaker at the bottom, and some sort of rear camera.
Previous iPad mini rumours/leaks suggest the tablet will have a 7.85in display, priced around $249-299, and possibly launching in October. That price would be low enough to trouble the Nexus 7.
Ah well, I guess we’ll find out for sure when October rolls around, but I for one won’t be shedding any tears if the iPad mini doesn’t materialise. Are you holding out for an iPad mini? Mind explaining why?
