
Why is there no iPad YouTube app?
Since iOS 6 there's been no YouTube app for the iPad, but there IS one on the App Store for the iPhone. What's that all about?? Probably a rhetorical question but...

Apple kicked Gmaps and Youtube out of their OS. Google promptly launched the Youtube app through the appstore, but the iPad version will take a bit longer. Patience.
Reason for Apple? They don't like Google? And any kind of search service (incl maps and vids of sneezing pandas) means money - and data.
Example: before Google made Chrome, they'd pay the likes of Firefox $$$ millions per year just to make Google the default search engine in the search bar...
