Will an iPhone 4S work anywhere?
Are all iPhone 4Ss world phones, regardless of where you buy them?

Sounds like it - though, roaming charges mean you'll need to be able to swap sims to a local one to avoid poverty. Thus, the carriers will have to play nice lock-wise.
Up to a few years ago most winmo phones were sold simfree so that travelling biz people could easily swap sims while trading weapons and babymilk in sudan. Then the carriers got all clampdowny.
But yes, a simfree iPhone 4S will work practically everywhere.

i am afraid of iphone works in sudan so i have to prove first before i buy it ,

Sudan has GSM networks and one CDMA network (I have no idea if they're 2G or 3G) so an iPhone 4S will work there. I don't know if there are different networks in the north and south of the country though, my knowledge of Sudan isn't that great.
