iPhone 5 battery from 3% to 100% in less than 2hours via laptop!!!

My iPhone 5 battery just went from 3% to 100% in less than 2hours, charging via laptop? Surely that can't be right! :p

What is wrong with that? Do you know power output of your UBS port? It mandated to be 5V and at least 500mA. What if it's outputting 1A? As a matter of fact I can plugin 2 x portable hard drives into mine (each 500mA).

Mine did the same. My N9 charges in 90 mins via USB!

If you weren't using the phone during charging then its normal. If you were then wtf, super usb port or something

Pondlife, I guess that explains Nokia's patents? They invested gazillions in R&D - some S60 devices charge in an hour. Bit more via USB. I have an old E75 that has the original 3 years old battery. Still charges in hour and half, holds charges for a week on standby.
