We're still a long way from the iPhone 5's summertime launch, but we've had a good few tips as to the spec recently, and today we learn something interesting about the design.
Online supplier Alibaba has started listing what it claims are iPhone 5 cases, hinting at a device nearly identical in size and shape to the iPhone 4.
We wouldn't normally pay too much attention to this kind of thing, but as 9to5Mac points out, Alibaba also started selling iPad 2 cases before the tablet's announcement, and they proved to be pretty accurate.
The claimed iPhone 5 show a near-identical design to the iPhone 4, with all the holes you'd expect for the camera and LED flash round the back, earphone and sleep/wake buttons up top and a slot down the side for the SIM card.
Nothing too surprisingly there, then, but the case design is consistent with the gist of other rumours we've been hearing recently – that the iPhone 5 will be the same size as the current model, but will feature a larger edge-to-edge screen.
