Will the iPhone 5 be as good as the Samsung Galaxy S2?

Do you think the iPhone 5's specs will be as good as the Samsung Galaxy S2?

Recent rumours are pegging the iPhone 5 at having the screen size at a disappointing 3.7 inches, so it looks like Apple isn't changing in prioritising form and design over features.

The processor and graphics are likely to be weaker on paper, but iOS is very efficient and devs have had a lot of time to get to grips with iOS programming, so games will probably look better on the iPhone and it'll be just as smooth as a Galaxy S II in day-to-day use.

Like Blizzard says, it'll likely be worse hardware wise than the SGS2, Android phones tend to be more powerful than iPhones, the Exynos chip paired with the Mali 400 GPU in the Galaxy S2 is arguably the best dual core mobile processor available. The iPhone 5 will likely have the A5 chip out of the iPad 2, though there were rumours that they were struggling to keep it cool enough to work in a phone properly.

iOS is more "streamlined", than Android, so the iPhone will, as Blizzard says, probably be just as smooth as the SGS2 in day to day use. The only time you'd probably notice the difference in speed is loading times for content heavy web pages, (though the iPhone doesn't "do", flash so even that's a hard comparison to make).
