iPhone 5 price drop

Is the iPhone 5 price drop (as per the recent deals on Hot UK Deals) a sign of the phone not selling as well as expected? Or that the iPhone 5S is due out in a couple of months? Or both?

No. It's just a deal - they get the money back from tying you into a contract, and by getting publicity for being oh so cheap.
All rumours aside, the iPhone 5 is selling very very well. And Apple do NOT lower the price months before a rumoured launch of a new phone.
A problem with the doomsayers' theory is this: Wall Street.

Wall Street's investor, ahem, scum ***cough*** doesn't care about current REAL success. They care about the future POTENTIAL for growth. FUTURE growth. Obviously there is a limit to how much sales can grow. Don't believe those economic hitmen and their media stooges ;)

Price drop?

HAHAHAHAHHA, ohhh man that was funny.

Apple iPhone on pay as you go will always be £529 (brand new)
On contract the prices will vary. That £27pm deal was on last year as well. So none of it is a deal. In fact you can get a HTC One or Galaxy S4 cheaper than an iPhone 5 at the moment.

Hell, you could buy a HTC One and a used Mercedes S class (2012 reg) with the money it costs to buy an iPhone 5....

Getting my iPhone 5 tomorrow, 16GB, white.

Though I would give it a whirl for a few weeks then pass it on to the wife if I dont like it.

New? No jailbreak then... I like the iPhone 5 with jailbreak. But I couldn't imagine buying one without jb...
