Will the iPhone 5 be quad-core?

Pure speculation of course - but is the iPhone 5 expected to be quad-core?

Yes, It's speculated to be Quad Core.
Also rumours that it'll have a larger screen and be LTE compatible (In the USA at least)

The iPhone 4s is Dual Core atm.

Normally, the new iPad that precedes the new iPhone has a better version of what the new iPhone will have (follow that? :p). So I don't think it will be. It will probably have a dual-core processor with dual-core graphics or something like that.

Don't you mean dual-core processor with quad-core graphics?

No I mean dual-core processor with dual-core graphics, because we've all heard how hot the new iPad (supposedly) gets under stress.

According to Apple there isn't an issue, though. The iPhone 4S already has a dual-core GOU & CPU.

Could imagine the no problem becoming a problem in a much smaller case though, besides that ipad processor looks huge.
