Is the iPhone 5 quad-core?
Is the iPhone 5 quad-core? Seems odd that they didn't say. Is the A6 just a faster dual-core processor?

Apple never really get that involved with the quad core etc arguments, usually they just point to benchmarks to prove that its "faster". In this case I would guess the A6 processor is essentially a more refined A5x, so probably dual core with quad core graphics but more power efficient/smaller

They were careful not to compare with the 5x so likely slower than that too

A6 expected to be slower than A5x. Tablet has bigger battery to support faster chip.
