iPhone 5s battery life

What's considered "normal" for iPhone 5S battery life? Is it normal to charge it every night?

Yes. That is normal. That is pretty good actually... The 5c is much better in terms of battery performance.

I can usually get a day and a half to two days between charges, at last look I had 1 day 22 hours on standby and just over 7 hours of usage. For most people though they get about a day out of it. I guess it all depends when you charge it, I always run mine down to single digit percentages before I charge it, some might wait until 20-30% then charge it so it's full and ready for the next day.

The one I'm using currently gets me from 6am to 5-ish in the PM... oops... But I'm online a LOT. I got 2 days from the 5c - easily. Not as bad as the Lumia 1020 or Z10, though. I can kill them in 4-5 hours :D

As Jan said, it's perfectly normal to have to charge an iPhone 5S every night. To be honest, the same can be said for almost any modern, high end phone with heavy use.
